The Royalton Education Foundation grant has allowed our third-grade classroom to use various interactive games that build logical reasoning, cooperation, and social skills. These activities promote problem-solving and strengthen students’ understanding of content area concepts as they work together to solve challenges requiring critical thinking and strategizing.

It has been amazing to observe these games and activities help students develop empathy, communication, and conflict-resolution skills while fostering a strong sense of community and collaboration in our classroom! Students' comments include, “I really like Mastermind and Rush Hour because they make me think,” and “Brain Flakes are fun and they let you be creative.”

Adding these activities has helped create an engaging environment supporting social-emotional learning, critical thinking, and deeper comprehension of academic content. Thank you, REF!
